Doha Centre for Media Freedom recently held its inaugural World Press Freedom Cartoon Contest to mark World Press Freedom Day 2013. The 250 entries from 47 countries, all depicting the theme of media freedom, provide a clear indication of the popularity of cartoons around the world, and their ability to deal with complex and controversial issues.


Collecting, translating, producing, and disseminating open source information that meets the needs of policymakers, the military, state and local law enforcement, operations officers, and analysts through-out Governments.
