Body of high-profile KKK leader found by a river a few days after he disappeared, police say

The Washington County Coroner’s Office is conducting an autopsy on Frank Ancona’s body and a cause of death has not been released, Jacobsen said. During the investigation, authorities arrested one person on an unrelated warrant, he said.In his statement, Jacobsen referred all questions to the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department. A call to that sheriff’s office was not returned Sunday.A person who answered the phone Sunday at the Leadwood Police Department said he was not allowed to speak about the case.
